| Additional materials (Try-On) | Assets | Color codes and facechart or reference pictures for each product (Make-up). 4–6 high-res pictures from all views. Close-up shots for important details (Product). |
Variants
- 360
The ad features a 3D model (like a sneaker or a smartphone). By clicking and dragging, the user can rotate the object in any direction to see every angle.
- Try-On
This uses the user's front camera. The ad tracks the user's face or body features and "layers" a digital product over them (e.g., trying on a pair of sunglasses or a shade of lipstick).
- Virtual Room
The ad acts as a portal into a 360-degree panoramic environment. The user is "standing" in the center of the space. They can look around by dragging their finger or moving their phone.

| Additional materials | Drive-To-Store | Spreadsheet with locations |
Variants
- Hotspots
The ad features static or pulsating icons (often like a "+" or a "pin" placed over specific parts of an image). When the user taps an icon, a small text box or "data card" pops up to explain that feature.
- Before & After
The ad shows two overlapping images (e.g., a dirty car vs. a clean car). A vertical line sits in the middle. The user drags this line left or right to "reveal" the transformation.
- Slider
Similar to Before & After, but used for progression rather than comparison. As the user moves a slider bar, the main image changes state. For example, a house being built from the ground up.
- Conversational
The ad mimics a choose-your-own-adventure journey. The user is presented with 2 or 3 options. Tapping a button triggers the next set of options.
- Drive-To-Store
The ad features the distance to the nearest physical shop and a small map. When tapped, the map is expanded covering the ad entirely, and the user can interact with it.

Variants
- Carousel
A classic horizontal row of products. The user clicks on arrows to navigate the slides.
- Cards
It looks like a stack of cards. When the user swipes, the top card flies off or slides to the back of the deck to reveal the one underneath.
- Accordion
The ad is divided into vertical or horizontal "slats." When the user taps a slat, it expands to show a full image and text.
- Cube
The ad looks like a 3D cube. The user swipes to "rotate" the cube, revealing a different product on each of the four vertical faces.
- Magazine
This mimics a physical catalog. When the user swipes, the page flips over with a realistic paper folding animation.
- Panoramic
This is one seamless row of slides. As the user swipes, they "scroll" across the slides.
- Roller
This features a continuous vertical or horizontal loop of cards. The user can swipe through them.
- Stories
A gallery divided into timed segments. The user taps the right side of the screen to "fast-forward" to the next slide.
- Wheel
The products rotate around a central axis. As the user swipes, the wheel spins, bringing the items to the front in a circular motion.

Variants
- Scratch
The ad starts with a "covered" layer (like a silver foil or a foggy window). The user must rub their finger to make the top layer disappear, revealing a hidden discount code or a product image.
- Jackpot
The ad looks like a classic casino slot machine with spinning reels. The symbols (which can be customised) spin rapidly and eventually land on a combination.
- Memorama
A grid of face-down cards (usually 4 to 8 cards). The user taps two cards at a time to flip them over. If the images match, they stay flipped. The goal is to clear the board by finding all pairs.
- Matcher
This mimics a dating app. The user is presented with a "stack" of cards. They swipe a card to the right to "Like", or to the left to "Pass". When a user swipes right, a "Details" card appears.
- Drag & Drop
The user is shown a specific "target" area (like a shopping bag, a car trunk, or a recipe pot) and a few loose items on the screen. The user must physically grab an item and drag it into the target spot.
- Click & Catch
A single object (like a coupon or a mascot) appears quickly and disappears in different parts of the ad unit. The user has to "catch" it by tapping it before it vanishes. It's a game of speed.
- Rain & Catch
Items fall from the top of the ad unit (like "rain"). The user controls a "basket" at the bottom by sliding it left and right to catch the falling objects.
- Discovery
The ad unit appears obscured at first. The user's finger acts as a moving spotlight. As they move across the ad, a circle of "light" or clarity follows them, revealing the hidden product or message.

Find answers
to common questions
-
How do specifications work? Why are they important?
Our "Specifications" are the materials needed to create an ad with our technology. They include an editable Photoshop template and an explanatory pdf of how all our configurations and formats work.
It's important to fill the specs because it helps us understand your needs clearly, ensuring we meet your expectations quickly and smoothly.
Once we receive all the materials, our team will create an ad optimized to leverage Seedtag's full capabilities. -
Can we send you a folder with materials, instead of filling your template?
Yes. We encourage you to fill in our templates so that we have a clear idea of what you want us to build and we can make sure that we meet your expectations.
However, if it is not possible for your team to work on the design, we will fill in the template with the materials you send us. Once we have received your approval of the design, we will produce the final ad. -
What do we (agency) need to send you (Seedtag)?
The list of materials varies slightly depending on the format chosen.
In most cases we will need: Your design for the advert, your fonts, your video, in case of video formats and the additional materials for some chosen formats.
Please refer to the PDF in the downloadable folder for the exact list of materials we need for your chosen format. -
What does "responsive" mean?
Responsive Design refers to the approach in digital design where the layout and content adjust seamlessly to fit the screen size and orientation of the device on which it is being displayed. In our ads, the design elements fill the available space in any location, essentially 'flowing' like liquid to take up all possible space.
In short, instead of designing multiple ads for a defined number of placements, we build a single liquid ad that can be served anywhere. -
Can we serve different designs or videos depending on the placement?
No. Our ads use Dynamic Placement Optimization (DPO) technology, which means that a single ad is served in multiple locations to optimize its KPIs. Therefore, a single ad will adapt to the space available while the content remains the same.
If you are interested in optimizing the ad for different situations, we can complement DPO with our Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) technology. In this case, we would adjust certain elements of the ad (images or video) to better suit different contexts or audiences.
